ABOUT PITCH PERFECT & DOTS
Pitch Perfect was started by Georgia Seddon in 2012. Educated at the world renowned City of Edinburgh Music School, she continued her studies at Newcastle University, obtaining her Masters degree in Music with a Distinction in Harmony and Aural Skills and classical piano performance. Working as a professional musician alongside transcribing for a growing list of clients has given her a unique insight into working to live deadlines and with a wide variety of music; the thread that runs through both of these jobs, performance and transcription, is perfect pitch. Georgia first realised her perfect pitch translated into a talent for music transcription when her university classmate and good friend commented on the fact that a certain musical exercise was supposed to take the group a week to transcribe; he had in fact just watched her do it to perfection in half an hour, thanks to her perfect pitch. Following graduation, she decided to put this skill to use and seek out music transcription work online, and after much success, Georgia decided to take it a step further and create this website under the Pitch Perfect name. As well as the transcription and typesetting services, Pitch Perfect now offers an easy to use platform where composers can sell the resulting sheet music (along with audio files).
