If you would like any piece(s) of your music arranged from one genre/instrument/ensemble to another - no matter how obscure or unusual the group of instruments - just email firstname.lastname@example.org with an MP3 or other audio file of the original track, or an image or PDF file of the musical score. If you would rather post a hard copy, such as a CD or a manuscript, a postal address is available on request (please supply a return address if so). Please specify in your enquiry any other details about your proposed arrangement - such as whether you would like the piece(s) to remain in the same key, any dynamic variations, or any other changes. You will then receive a quote or estimate, whichever you prefer (see prices below).
If you would like to commission a composition for any purpose - in any style or genre, and for any combination of instruments - please email email@example.com with a detailed description of the composition you have in mind, i.e. instrument combination, genre, mood, key, time signature and so on. Please note that while your own - or existing - lyrics may be set to music, they will not be composed. If the composition is for piano, if you request, you will be sent not only your printable score, but a recording of the piece. If it is for any other instrument or combination, you will be sent a synthesised version as a sample of what it would sound like (although the quality will not be as high as one with genuine instruments). The exceptions to this are vocals (solo or ensemble), which are unable to be recorded for this purpose; however if requested, a piano line can be used in place of a vocal line for the purposes of hearing the melodies and harmonies of the piece. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive a quote or estimate, whichever you prefer (see prices below).
To have a piece of music transposed - whether for a different instrument/instruments, or into a different key - just email firstname.lastname@example.org with a PDF of the music (or a request for a postal address to send a hard copy of a manuscript to, along with return address). I will keep every other detail (dynamics, articulation and so on) identical to the original, unless specified otherwise. The result will be sheet music which is just the same as the original, aside from the key/instrument. Upon receipt of your materials, you will receive a quote or estimate, whichever you prefer (see prices below).
Pitch Perfect can produce piano reductions from an orchestral or band score, which are invaluable for rehearsals and practices. To have a piano reduction made, please send either a PDF, Sibelius, Musescore or XML file of the full score to email@example.com, or alternatively, post any hard copies (postal address given on request - please also include a return address). You will then receive a quote or estimate, whichever you prefer (see prices below).
If you have a MIDI file that you would like to turn into a printable score - or an existing score or recording that you would like to convert to MIDI - just email your material to firstname.lastname@example.org.You will then receive a quote or estimate, whichever you prefer (see prices below).
You can choose to have an estimate (that may change as the work progresses, but may be more budget friendly), or a hard quote (that won't, but may cost more). An estimate is based on the number of hours the work is likely to take - this could change should the number of hours worked be different to what was estimated. A hard quote is based on the number of bars in the piece, which is gaugeable at the start - this will be fixed regardless of how long the work takes.
